Adding two versatile peripherals to the Redragon range

Colby has expanded its Redragon portfolio with two peripherals designed for players who want flexible connectivity without giving up the option of a cable. The new additions are the Redragon TAIPAN MAX M810RGB-MAX gaming mouse and the Redragon DHARMA PRO K556 PRO mechanical keyboard with a Slovenian/Croatian key layout. Both support wired, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth use, making it easier to move between a desktop computer, laptop and other compatible systems.

M810RGB-MAX combines three connection modes with long battery life

The TAIPAN MAX M810RGB-MAX uses an optical gaming sensor with sensitivity adjustable up to 12,000 DPI. Its eight programmable buttons can be assigned custom commands and macros, while a dedicated rapid-fire button provides an additional control option in games that benefit from repeated inputs. Customisable RGB lighting completes the familiar gaming design.

The mouse can connect through the included 2.4 GHz wireless link, Bluetooth or a USB-C cable. This tri-mode design lets users prioritise mobility, connect without occupying a conventional USB port, or continue playing while the battery is charging. The battery lasts up to 130 hours in Eco Mode. The black model is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux.

Its ergonomic shape is intended for longer playing and working sessions, while the cable-free modes remove cable drag from the desk. Users who regularly switch between devices also gain a practical benefit: the same mouse can serve a gaming setup and a portable computer without being tied to one connection method.

K556 PRO pairs an aluminium board with hot-swappable switches

The full-size DHARMA PRO K556 PRO is built around a brushed aluminium board and a 104-key layout with full N-key rollover. The version entering the Colby range uses a Slovenian/Croatian key layout and Redragon mechanical Red switches. Their linear action is suited to users who prefer a smooth keypress without a pronounced tactile bump.

The hot-swap sockets accept both 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style switches, so switches can be replaced without soldering. This makes it possible to repair an individual key or change the typing feel later. The package includes a keycap puller, a switch puller and spare switches in addition to the detachable 1.8-metre USB-C cable.

Connectivity follows the same flexible approach as the mouse: USB-C, 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth are available. The 1,600 mAh battery is rated for more than 150 hours with the lighting switched off and more than 50 hours with RGB enabled. Users can select up to 20 lighting presets directly on the keyboard, while Redragon software adds custom effects, shortcuts and macros.

A coordinated Redragon setup

Their shared tri-mode connectivity makes the pair particularly relevant for desks used for both gaming and everyday work, while the keyboard adds a regional key layout that is often difficult to find among international mechanical models.
