EA SPORTS FC 27 has launched worldwide, opening a new football season for players across consoles and PC. The latest entry in Electronic Arts’ football series is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.

EA SPORTS FC 27 refines control across every match
EA SPORTS FC 27 introduces gameplay changes shaped by community feedback. Electronic Arts highlights more fluid control, dynamic corners, improved attacking awareness and revised defending designed to give players greater influence over each phase of a match.
The changes extend across the game rather than being limited to a single mode. The objective is to make movement and decision-making feel more responsive while preserving the different demands of casual, competitive and single-player football.
Career Mode also receives a rebuilt transfer market. Player values are designed to react more realistically, while active bidding from other clubs adds competition during negotiations. New contract options include performance-related and buy-back clauses, and Dynamic OVR reflects factors such as form, morale and fitness.
The Grounds expands the Clubs experience
One of the most substantial additions is The Grounds, a social football environment that connects street football with the established Clubs experience. It supports smaller formats including 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 matches, alongside Rush, 11v11 competitions and informal activities inspired by other sports.
The environment is divided into three districts representing football cultures in the United Kingdom, France and Argentina. Up to 100 players can share the space, meet other players, watch live matches and develop their virtual professional.
The Grounds, including Clubs, is available only in the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 versions. Buyers choosing PlayStation 4, Xbox One or the original Nintendo Switch should therefore check the feature set of their selected edition.
FUT Gallery records the history of a club
Football Ultimate Team introduces the FUT Gallery, which records eligible Player Items that have passed through a club. Items can continue contributing to themed Gallery Sets even after they have been sold or exchanged, providing a longer-term record of a player’s Ultimate Team journey.
Completing sets increases the Gallery Level and unlocks rewards. Electronic Arts says more than 100 sets are available at launch, covering major men’s and women’s leagues, clubs and different item rarities.
Career Mode, Football Ultimate Team and The Grounds give EA SPORTS FC 27 several distinct progression paths. The range of supported platforms also allows players to choose between current-generation systems, established consoles, PC and both Nintendo Switch generations.
